Had a breakfast meeting with Jenny. Ordered an omlette with mushrooms, spinach and cheese. Got a bite full of crunch. "Egg-shell," I thought, and chewed gingerly. Got the bite-full down, then saw on my plate, a lone pair of spindly legs. When I was young, I remember, my grandfather was bitten by a dog. I was amused then by how much it affected him, how he allowed it  to shift and shape his perception of himself. Well, now, here I am, considering myself A Woman Who Has Eaten a Roach with Breakfast.
