Let myself be intimidated by a sign on a parking meter saying not to park there if the meter was broken. Had to try 3 spots before finding a working meter. Saw a fat brown rat dead at the edge of an ice hill on the sidewalk. Cried all day. No reason. Worked on applications for Gus school next year.
