Telling: Streams & Logs

2001

July 26 - lbk

Today we did not drive out through the roll and heat of Iowa, under the wide-open, drink-all-you-want skies of Nebraska to sleep in a motel with damp carpets and plastic-sheeted double beds. It was sunny and cool in Chicago. I drove to Oak Park for a meeting. Spent the afternoon at the office. Watt fixed a West African Tuna Casserole for dinner. I slept in my own bed, with the windows open to catch the breeze.
