Soccer turned sunny. Families in the park focused on little things. Coming up on Mexican Independance, most of the Mexican flags I see are paired with American flags. There are flags everywhere, from shop windows to car antenna to dog bandanas. At Osco this afternoon I bought both Sunday papers, Times and Trib, but could not bring myself to look at them. By evening I lost my footing.
